Keep Kids Playing Longer, Give Hotels Extra Revenue — 355㎡ Immersive Indoor Family Playground Lands at Kunming Perennial Family Club
A 355㎡ immersive indoor family playground has landed at Kunming Perennial Family Club, bringing childhood dreams to life. The refined, soft spatial design balances safety and fun, offering play, exploration, and creativity all in one place.
The hotel cluster, developed by Singapore Perennial Group, Hyatt, and Mingyu Hospitality, has about 2,000 rooms. Hyatt Place opened in August 2025 with 315 rooms. As family guests increased, a kids' space was needed that fits the hotel's style.

Inside, bright yet soft colors and imaginative themed installations create a captivating atmosphere. The dreamy soft-play castle features multi-lane slides, while varied levels of play equipment encourage running, jumping, and climbing. Full soft-padding protection lets kids play freely and release their energy.

A dedicated performance stage with atmospheric lighting, a mock kitchen, and block-building areas are all available. The ocean ball pit becomes a colorful sea, the 3D maze offers twists and turns, and the fun climbing wall challenges kids. Navigating these obstacles builds courage, focus, and coordination.

Why this investment makes sense:
-
Hotels with good kids' facilities can charge 10–20% higher room rates.
-
The play area extends family stays by 2–3 hours, driving extra dining and SPA spending.
-
It accounts for around 10% of total annual revenue and creates free social media exposure.
